Our Mission Statement

Sew Chateaux is a destination shop for your sewing, decorating, fine crafting and gift needs, with an appreciation for traditional hand crafts. Our goal is to provide a warm and inviting space where you will feel inspired, find a keepsake, enjoy opportunities to be present, with gratitude for each of our individual journeys, where we can create heirlooms together that can be cherished by loved ones for generations.

Our inspiration comes mostly from Western European romantic, seasonal traditions and classical design elements drawn from French, English, Celtic, German and Scandinavian roots. Though you will find North American, New England and some global native influences too, we look forward to continuing to draw inspiration from artists and designers, old, new, local and afar.

We are a purveyor for those who appreciate designer quality quilting fabrics, family heirlooms, fine hand crafting, antique and vintage treasures, and getting inspired. We hope you stop in and visit us at our brick-and-mortar location in the heart of Lisbon Falls, halfway between the Lewiston Turnpike exit and the Topsham 295 exit, on route 196. We are on the first floor of the nostalgic brick Ancient York Lodge, right on the corner of route 196 & Oak Street.
